Television cameras spotte the United manager putting his arm around the Wolves forward as they heade down the tunnel together during the half-time break.
Speaking before United’s loss, Amorim also single out Cunha’s attacking threat.
‘Wolves have many quality players like Matheus Cunha. It won’t be easy,’ Amorim said.
‘I just gave the example of Cunha because I remember about Matheus scoring a lot of goals, just that.’
Elsewhere, MailOnline also reporte that United are looking for another quick deal to sign Ipswich striker Liam Delap as soon as the summer window opens.
